I'm no lawyer, but as I understand things: it's not libel or slander if it's true.

and its not like they were turned away for their weight. if they do sue which I think they will they will be suing for what? hurt feelings? the guy was a dick and I think he has already been fired and should be but it pretty much stops after an apology and and offer of goodwill (e.g. free meal) after that if they do sue then i just dont understand why. I put in the lawsuit coming as it was my first thought of what they will do even though they havent said anything about it just like it was probably each of our first reaction to have a giggle at this but then I saw how hurt the one girl was and I then said um if you are so hurt by this do something about it for yourself. maybe its a gland problem I dont know but I know I carry some extra weight but if I wanted to lose it I would. I guess I dont

I wish it was still around, too. I don't really care that some people had like a million rep points or how many rep points I had.

It was a nice way to show appreciation for someone or for someone else to tell you they liked something without needing to send a PM or make a post if you just enjoyed something but didn't want to go through all that bother. I think it made the community stronger around here and you got to know who liked your jokes and who you connect with. Plus, some of the best laughs I had were from the comments written with a rep. I miss it.

Yeah but fans of certain teams were just repping each other, and then they had more rep than everyone else, and so I had to neg rep them, and they got mad and neg repped me, so I pm'd Ghost about them being childish and not using the rep system correctly.

I'm just spitballin' here, but maybe it could be brought back and rep could be reset for everyone on a monthly basis. It's not a big deal to me either way, but as eloco mentioned, often times the rep comments were just as funny as the original post.

I've always thought lacrosse fights were more dangerous that hockey fights, as you have so much greater balance on sneakers than skates
(i.e. - easier to pull opponent off balance, so the likelyhood of landing a really damaging blow is smaller)
