Reminds me of a story my dad heard at school.

Test is handed out.

Student says, "I think I'm gonna be sick."

Teacher, tired of student's crap, says in a tired and bored voice, "Mentally or physically?"

Student: "BLLLEEEEAAAAAHHHHH"

The first one out of the classroom was the teacher, followed hot on his heels by the puking student. Following a distant third was the rest of the class.

First part sucks... Egg plant can be tricky. Second part is awesome. And sorry you're not there. I have a friend in the Netherlands that attended a lecture by André Kuipers, I was pretty jealous.

Why have we not been discussing this? Between the legalization of marijuana and now this, I think states are really pushing back against the Federal Government and things could get very interesting in the next few months/years.

Texas Secession Petition Racks Up More Than 80,000 Signatures, Qualifies For White House Response

Why have we not been discussing this? Between the legalization of marijuana and now this, I think states are really pushing back against the Federal Government and things could get very interesting in the next few months/years.

Apparently there have been succession petitions after the last few elections as well. Its done by citizens, not the state governments. And we all know how viable online petitions are. Having said that, from what I read the feds will have to respond when the signature count for each state reaches 25,000. That might be fun.

The whole thing stinks of sore loserness to me. Sure I didn't like W but I never wished him harm, wanted to move out of the country, or wanted my state to secede.
