I do like Irish whiskey very much though. Not sweet like bourbon, not "rubbery" like many scotch's.

It's spelled "Borbon" in the United States, yes?

2+ years at SportsHoopla and I still don't have this crap straightened out yet. :tsk:

The liquor store I go to has a section of whiskey just from Canada, and it's just labeled "Canada."

And I liked the song you sent me, Jeff. If there's another you have in mind, and you know the name, just let me know what it is, and I'll look it up.

Okay, back to mixing up homemade tomato sauce for my eggplant Parmesan!

I'm hearing that John Farrell just called Alex Anthopolous and inquired about the Blue Jays managerial position...

Have fun with that... This is the song I was thinking of when I posted it.

They're from Liverpool, England. That last tune was more of a transition tune with a lot of weird electronics and stuff.

@LoMoMarlins
I bet Canadians are feeling a little better about NAFTA tonight...

BJ's took on up to $155m additional guaranteed salary (net) with the trade.
and Marlins now have NO salary committed to 2014

I actually like the return the Marlins got. This is their style though, blow everything up, draft well, create a stacked World Series caliber team and then firesale and start over. I hope the Blue Jays have success as a result of this. If Josh Johnson can stay healthy he's a stud, Buhrle eats innings, and when Reyes has his head on his shoulders and isn't on the DL he is the most entertaining/dangerous player in the game.

Phew. Eggplant Parmesan is now in the oven, and the water for the pasta is on to boil. Also, I just came across this Decemberists song I had never heard before, and I really like it.

Just saw first Christmas commercial on TV.

Only half-payed attention to it.

That was a mistake.

Heard a little kid say, "The elves tried to wrap a pony!"

But it didn't sound that way.

It sounded more like, "The elves tried to r*pe a pony!"

That's when I stopped what I was doing.

And then I made this face:

The Raptors made 1 basket in the 4th quarter, and won the game
(I didn't watch the game, just like the picture)

My eggplant Parmesan sucks. :tsk:

And my girlfriend is at a Neil deGrasse Tyson talk. I'm jealous.
