No, I'm not Cricket.

May she rest in peace.

I just finished a 2-week period where I worked a total of 186 hours. That's insane. I can't ever remember being this tired before.

Even more astonishing... the next 2-week period just started and I've already worked 2.5 hours, even though the pay period only has an hour and a half in it. Figure that one out! ;)

I am more bored. This time of year (especially this year) sucks for someone like me, whose a fan of hockey and baseball but hates football.

Never underestimate the importance of naps...

I assure you, I don't. But at this point, I think reading this book and going through the problem sets might prove more helpful to me.

I want to see Oregon in the title game just because they're so darned exciting. I'm kind of hoping for Oregon vs. Notre Dame, actually.

I think I read somewhere that Oregon has the 2nd ranked offense, but their defense is ranked 50th or so and Alabama is flip-flopped (great defense, but not-so-great offense).

Could make for a pretty good BCS title game.

Yeah, I just want to see a title game with no SEC team. It pretty much never happens, so the prospect intrigues me.

On another note, I was checking out the Arizona Rugby Union website, and they have an entire tab dedicated to red and yellow cards. My favorite red card was for "excessive use of water bottle to a touch judge."

I was out walking the dog and came across a goldfinch just sitting on the ground and not flying away. It was all puffed out, breathing heavily and had its eyes half-closed. Clearly something was wrong. I took the dog back inside, got some birdseed, but when I got back the goldfinch was gone. I threw some seed here and there in case it was camouflaged amongst the leaves.

It made me sad. :(

It's my state bird and I've never seen one in my life. That's one thing that amazes me about the rest of the country (the south in particular) compared to where I live, no interesting birds here (hawks, ducks, turkeys are fun). Sparrows, crows, morning doves, geese, occasinally you get Blue Jays and Cardinals but mostly dark colored, boring looking birds.

Wow, that sucks.

Here are just the ones that frequent my birdfeeders:
