Cutch winning is just an example of how silly the award is. I watched the dude play like 150 games this year. He's EXTREMELY good, but mentally not all there for a CF. In fact I think he may eventually be sent to LF with Marte in CF.

Weak arm and slow reactions, one of the worst defensive center fielders in baseball statistically.

He'd be an amazing defensive left fielder, though.

The ONLY reason he's in CF is because of his speed. The speed is great when you can catch the ball on the fly and make some diving plays...but to be in CF you have to be cerebral about the game and know where you're going with the ball before you get it. He'd be perfect in LF with Marte, a far better fielder, in CF. Defensively it just makes sense.
