According to a guy on the Pirates board, someone has put a claim in on Justin Upton, but no one knows who yet.

It would make sense for the Pirates to have. I expect the DBacks to pull him back, of course, but I'm going to be a little excited regardless.

Okay, I don't understand the baseball rules with waivers. You can put him on waivers, then when a team picks him up you can just call him back? I guess they're conditional waivers and it's really just a weird loophole to make a trade, but it's bizarre to me.
