Canada loses to North Korea 2-1 today at the Women's U-20 World tourney (looks like they were in the Group of Death along with North Korea and Norway that advance from the group). Based on what I have read though, there are some fine up-and-coming players that will challenge for roster spots in 2015 for the next Women's World Cup.

agreed. much better than the american remake.

I do agree. However my main problem with the American one was how closely it followed the original. I was kind of bored because I felt like I had seen it before. So while I do think the original is better, I wonder if I would think more highly of the remake if I had seen it first. IPW isn't here so I will post that the book was a lot of fun too.

I haven't seen the new version of "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" yet mainly for the same reason.

yes, that one is pretty close to shot-for-shot as well.
Daniel Craig gives it a bit of a different feel, but it is essentially the same movie.

another decent Scandinavian film to watch out for is Dead Snow. Zombie Nazis!
I think it's been brought up in one of the earlier bored threads, but it is pretty fun movie.
