Oh.
There you go, Barmes!
I think they're going six-man because of how many games they have in a row. Also, Bedard is decidedly better on long rest.
I agree with an occasional spot start, but the guy is talking like it's the time to test this out. Come on.
Also, Barajas scoring from first? Maybe it is our day. I dunno their last few weeks have slowly made me cynical about them. Just bad, bad games. And at home.
It's really just been this homestand. Aside from the one collapse, I thought they played well against the Diamondbacks, who are the best team in the West. The Padre series was ugly, but we also got swept by Baltimore earlier in the year, and we at least avoided the sweep against the Padres. The Dodgers are playing pretty well right now and improved significantly at the trade deadline, so it's not a total failure to lose a series to them. I do think we need to take this game, though.
The offense continues to produce rather consistently, though, and the pitching is in a funk which is statistically unsustainable. In about a week, the Pirates will surge again, I estimate.
And apparently ROOT caught AJ saying to Hanley "Sit the f**k down!" Bahahahahah
I would have liked to have seen Wilson, but Watson did the job.
