Golf.

Because the only other thing I've ever done there is visit my grandfather. He is a great guy and loves telling his baseball stories. But he's kinda old and might not even know you're there.

My kids enjoyed both the San Diego Zoo and Sea World, but as a single guy, it's probably not high on your list of things to do. There are some beautiful beaches down that way though, have a great time.

I'm going in a pretty big group, most of whom don't golf, so that might not be much of an option. But rest assured, I would find a course to hack if I could.

Of course, the big group doesn't help because none of us are from the West Coast...

And I have this strange feeling your grandfather would be a little weirded out by about a half dozen twenty-somethings he'd never met before knocking on his door...

Well, I'm not single, and I do love zoos, and also hate beaches, but I'll take your advice under consideration.

The zoo and marineworld are great; single, married, divorced or just sport fucking. I wanted to check out the safari (don't know the official name) but had no time. There's also the Padres. The beaches are great, but if you want waves, you'll likely have to head a little north of the city.
