Who is better Bryce Harper or Mike Trout?

Idk, both putting up VERY similar numbers. I'd say it's a toss up, though in his first 40 games in the Bigs, Trout had an OPS of .672, while Harper's is at .943. Harper has a little more power, Trout has a little more speed. Both very exciting guys.

Short term, I'd take Trout, because I think he'll be steadier.

Long term, absolutely Harper. Much bigger upside, especially in terms of power.

I don't understand, where are the Washington Capitals in that painting? ;)

Nats take the field in just a few minutes. They are going for the franchise's first back-to-back sweeps on the road since 1988. Strassy is on the mound (trying to reach 8-1) and Harper is hitting .382 with 5 dingers and 14 RBIs in his last 20 games.

Go Natinals!

Big news from Darkstone42's world of science!

One: For the first time, I have been entrusted with opening up the instrument and cleaning the nozzle alone. All I have left to do is let the nozzle dry, put it back together, put it back in the chamber, and get it back under vacuum, which is the easy part. :thumb:

Two: More importantly, the National Science Foundation has approved a grant for $70,000 so we can buy a new laser! :nerd:

That was actually intentional. The team went on the field in "Natinals" jerseys years ago b/c of some kind of mistake with the uniform people. So, for one night, they were the Washington Natinals and many Nats fans still refer to them as such.

Ooo, congrats.

Are you putting it on a shark? Please tell us you are putting it on a shark. Or at least on Joe Pavelski.
