It appears as though the rumours are true. Apparently Vladimir Guerrero has decided to give up the comeback

killed Single A ball, kind of plateaued in Triple A it seemed.

I saw the contrary on twitter about the Vlad rumors. His agent said he's playing well and feels great. He's hitting .300 in AAA

Apparently Vlad asked to be released from his minor league contract, and the Blue Jays obliged. I'm guessing he's hoping some big clubs will come calling. I wouldn't mind taking a flier on him Neil!

Unless he comes at a price of almost nothing, I'm not interested. He doesn't take walks, and we need guys who get on base in our lineup. Vlad's not one of them at this point in his career.
