Nevermind, Morton is tomorrow. And Verlander. Interesting stuff: Don Kelly is a Pittsburgh kid, and Neil Walkers brother in law.

For Pittsburgh?

Tiger bats this season have frequently gone on 4-5 inning stretches without getting a single hit against average pitchers.

So, expect a 1-0 game with McCutchen drawing a walk and moving over on errors maybe? Haha. Trust me, Verlander WILL get at least 10 K's tomorrow. That said, maybe this is just the offense Chuck needs to get his pitching back.

Tigers likely won't have Austin Jackson or Valverde available.

Nats are 2-3 against the Pirates. :L

I think in 5 games against us, the Buccos have scored about 45% of their runs this season. ;)

What should really bother you is that without that no good sandbagging no-show until now suddenly Adam LaRoche, that'd record would be worse :) I'm not happy with you either Nady...but you were a good Bucco.

It'd also be a lot better if our two best hitters weren't out of the lineup. We're going to be a contender this year. Not ready for that next step yet, but we are on our way. This is going to be a very good ball club for the next 5-8 years.

The Kings have left the building.

With a 3-0 series lead.

I compare it to the '08 Pens. They RAN OVER the East in what, 14 games? Swept OTT, 5 for NYR, 5 for PHI...then they ran into a seasoned, grizzled veteran Wings team. Neither of the 2012 Devs/Rangers are that team. There's nothing the Devils/Rangers have that the Kings haven't seen. A hot goalie? They wrecked Elliot and Smith (so far). Defensive schemes? Blues and Yotes much? High powered offenses? Neither of those East teams are that...but they did play the Nucks who were rather offense first.

Yeah...same here friend. Our rotation could be 2010 Giants levels of nasty soon. I think this JMac is here to stay. Morton? He's a wildcard still...but we have some great arms in the farm. Now if we could just get a stellar SS and C prospect in the system. I really hope the Pirates can find someone to trade with and get a good blue chip in those areas. Of course SS prospects cost your first born in the MLB. I want them to contend this year, and who knows, they may...the NL Central is weak. But I hope the FO is looking in the right direction.

Only way LA doesn't win the cup is if they wake up one day, look around, and freeze.

Like the Tigers did in 2006 against St Louis. :burt:

I've just noticed how all my posts with the Tigers lately have ended with :L or :burt:

:burt:

The one reason I AM excited about this current team is this: our schedule to start the year was pretty brutal...but they're only 2 games under .500 and 2 games back from 1st in the division. Not bad for a brutal schedule.

The Pirates just need to get on base.

And someone below the 4 spot needs to hit, because pitchers can do whatever they want to Pedro, since walking him isn't a big deal with no one hitting behind him.

I'm glad they're improving, but I see them finishing 10 games under .500 at best. Worst bats in baseball right now. But things in baseball always happen sloooooow. I know last year I was thinking if the Nats finished with 3-4 games under .500 they could be about to make that push. I'd like to see them win 85-90 games this year. Then next year, we're right in the mix.

I don't like the change they made in the art in Batman: The Animated Series. Especially Scarecrow.

I recently got a Playstation3. Every once in awhile I play Call of Duty online. The language kids use today is ridiculous. You'd think "n" word was a god damn conjunction.

They did that to make it look more like the Superman cartoon that started running around the same time. It was a huge mistake.
