I followed the O's in the 70's when my cousin pitched for them. Haven't really followed the sport much in the last decade or so. Do they still have good fan support these days?

Eh, not really. There are a lot of fans but after 12 years of losing badly a lot of people take a 'wait and see' approach. Even if they are OK I think the support would be good. Its annoying now, they have had a good start and some people just wait for them to fail saying 'wait til they fall apart'.
I like baseball and for better and mostly worse the Orioles are my team. If they lose 100 games it will bug me so I see no reason why I cannot enjoy a 26-14 start. I'd still be surprised if they finish 500 but a couple months of fun is something.

Back from the mall. Got myself a pair of cross training shoes for jogging/jumping rope and a spring jacket. Shit was expensive, but at least it'll last a long time.

Whew. That'll be the last time I go shopping for the rest of the year.
