That's why I wish he never went full on roid monster the way he did. Defensively he was a monster early on. Could cover a lot of ground, had a cannon. He was a 30/30 guy early on before he doubled in weight.

Well, I cried it out I don't hate the Cardinals, only the narratives that come along with it because they've won so often. The Pirates had every opportunity to win that series. I'm mostly sick of the Cards getting insane performances from players they "shouldn't".

I will say this about St. Louis though, that is one great baseball town and the fans love their baseball.

Funny, everyone talks about how great a baseball town St. Louis is and yet during the 06 NLCS against the Mets their fans would be sitting on their hands during some of the tensest moments of the series. Maybe it's just that the people within spitting distance of the field are old timers but I'm not sold on St. Louis fans.
