There are a bunch of tarantula wasps flying about outside my office. Fortunately, they're not particularly aggressive, because they allegedly have one of the most painful bites/stings of any insect. They're worse than bullet ants.

I do whatever I can to avoid them.

I remember the first Tigers playoff game I ever saw in 2006. It felt unreal. Being one of the worst teams in all of baseball just 3 years previously...to taking on the Yankees on FOX...so weird and exciting.

Yeah...that's me. Worst team in baseball in 2010, second worst in 2009, and now we're 5th best in the league, 3rd best in the NL. I just really need them to get to the NLDS. One freaking wild card game won't cut it for me. I like the concept of the second wild card, especially since the NL Central deserves those three teams making it, but only getting one game out of this post season would cut me to the core.
