This game is creeping me out. I went to the LNLDS game 5 on Oct 12, 2012. Nats were up 6-0 in the 3rd, but the Cards just chipped away and we lost 9-7.

I get that Howie was the MVP, but they should have talked to him less and talked to Zim more. He’s been the franchise backbone for over a decade and this is redemption and reward for him more than anyone else in the organization.

I have the same feelings for the Pirates. As long as Nutting owns them they won’t get my money. And this post season more than any pissed me off more when Glasnow and Cole started against each other.

Checked this morning to see Washington's history of sweeps. The Nats' series win is only the second time a DC team has won a 7-game series by sweep. The Wizards (who cares) did it in 2015 in the first round and the Caps have swept teams twice, but back in the '80s when the first round was a 5-game series.
