Don't look now but a good weekend series vs. the Pirates combined with the M's and Angels beating on each other all weekend and the Rays in a tough series vs. Cleveland, the Jays might be able to get within shouting distance of the Wild Card.

Well if the Angels hadn't swept the Jays would only be 3.5 back of the WC.

I expected to lose Saturday or Sunday, not Stroman's outing on Friday. They play TB 6 times in their next 9, with a visit to Wrigley in the middle. This by all means should be the ending of the Jays season but, heh, who knows.
