I was more offended by Bautista's bat flip - he set the bar so high in the playoffs a couple of seasons ago that yesterday's flip seemed weak by comparison.

One nice thing the Jays have done is apparently made a starter out of Biagini. Nice outing yesterday against one of the best orders in the AL.

If the Jays somehow manage to claw their way back into things, it'll be nice to have the option of making a no shit baseball trade with one of their starters for some help in LF.

So Harper ended up getting 4 games and Strickland got 6. Seems about right, though I wish they would take whatever the suspension is judged to be for pitchers and double or triple it. An 8-game suspensions for a starting pitcher is like 1 start. For a reliever, maybe 4-5 innings of work. Not quite the same.

In any case, seems like they got it about right.
