I get it, but I also kicked the asses of multiple of those boys I grew up with. I always took the comment a bit more personally because, especially growing up, I felt like I could beat just about any boy in a feat of athleticism. I don't get too up in arms about it now, because it's just a sad attempt at humor and shows insecurity, but I do think about young me and she'd be irate.

Taking him out at 100 is excessive, certainly would've tried to push him through the 8th at least...but the slide rule is really fine. It's up to players to follow it now. Go to the bag, and run it like you were trying to beat a tag, not break up anything. I don't love the whole awarding a DP when a guy didn't even attempt to complete the DP, but again...adjust to the rule. I imagine this dies down quickly because guys understand it a bit more now.
