Oh.
So, WW, are you watching that Tigers/Pirates game?

Uh oh... not my wheelhouse...
How about those Expos, that Gary Carter is some player.
Well, its early in the season so baseball isn't mentioned as much as in the summer when hockey is over.
But yeah, the Expos aren't as bad as last year
That smiley is scary
I disagree. They don't seem to have competed at all.

closer to .500 than last year. They definately aren't as bad as last year
.500 would be a good goal for the Nats this year. Most important thing for them - Strausburg gets healthy, even if he doesn't pitch.
Hey eloco, do you agree with keeping Harper out of the majors this year?

In 20 games since his visit to the eye doctor, Harper is hitting .480 (36 for 75) with a .547 on-base percentage and an .893 slugging percentage — with 7 homers, 10 doubles and 23 RBI.
I kinda agree with Chris and Brian, but if he gets up to AAA and hits like .330+ why not call him up in September?
The concern is that it starts his clock. You don't want a guy like Harper to get Super Two status. An extra year of arbitration could be salary hell.
I (and I bet John as well) have been pleasantly surprised by the Mariners so far.
