congrats!

as a reward, i'll tell you how to keep your shot low.
- roll your wrists over on follow through. When practicing it to get the muscle memory down, you want to really exaggerate the low followthrough, so that your hockey stick is basically pointing to the (low) target when you are done.

voila.

Thanks. I'll try it. I have a hard time rolling my wrists because of the surgery I had on the right one four years ago (I can't even slowly emulate the motion tennis players use), but it's definitely something I'll keep in mind and try to be conscious of. I need to quicken my shot, too, and I think a big part of my problem is actually how much I load up and how fast my stick gets moving at release, especially on my slapper. I don't have any more games as an undergraduate, but I'll see if there's a league at the University of Arizona (I'm not particularly hopeful) and I'll let you know how it works for me.

Good job! Have a beer!

Thanks, I plan to go to the bar tonight, perhaps for Karaoke Night.

Good work, Chris.

EDIT: 2,500 posts! Yay!

Thanks, and congrats on 2500!

Congrats Chris!

Thanks, Tyler!

:clap2: Congrats.

Thanks WW!

I played some whiffle ball and tossed around the pigskin at a cookout, then went to a meeting with free pizza where we ended up just picking on the president of the organization. It was great.

But right about now, I feel like this:

I'm surprised at how high they scored me, actually. I did great for the first half hour, struggled through it for the next twenty minutes, and then did alright for the last twenty-five.

I forgot my freshman chemistry, but apparently my knowledge of my system was sufficient to make up for it.

Can someone please give me a napkin so I can wipe the drool off?

Detroit's D-Line was already one of the strongest in the NFL...and it just got better.

Ever since Matt "Hitler" Millen was ousted, Detroit has had several good, solid drafts in a row now.
