And it's been raining every day here for like forever. It's not improving my mood.

The fool in Twelfth Night was my favorite Shakespeare character ever. He was very clever.

I now feel the need to post the rest of that poem. It really resolved Twelfth Night well.

When that I was and a little tiny boy,
With hey, ho, the wind and the rain,
A foolish thing was but a toy,
For the rain it raineth every day.

But when I came to man’s estate,
With hey, ho, the wind and the rain,
‘Gainst knaves and thieves men shut the gate,
For the rain it raineth every day.

But when I came, alas! to wive,
With hey, ho, the wind and the rain,
By swaggering could I never thrive,
For the rain it raineth every day.

But when I came unto my beds,
With hey, ho, the wind and the rain,
With toss-pots still had drunken heads,
For the rain it raineth every day.

A great while ago the world begun,
With hey, ho, the wind and the rain,
But that’s all one, our play is done,
And we’ll strive to please you every day

He should have stopped writing comedies after this one. They were all the same and, in my opinion, he got it most right with Twelfth Night.

Well, bed time. I have to get my rest for this defense tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes when it's over, which I anticipate being around 4 PM.

Oh boy.

Later all!

Everybody's asleep. The rain continues to fall. Would you care to play me a sad tune, Mr. Chopin?

I passed my comp defense! My adviser said I'm probably looking at a grade in the A/A- range. Not bad for a consistently B/B+ student. :)

congrats!

as a reward, i'll tell you how to keep your shot low.
- roll your wrists over on follow through. When practicing it to get the muscle memory down, you want to really exaggerate the low followthrough, so that your hockey stick is basically pointing to the (low) target when you are done.

voila.
