also the Star Wars prequels are the biggest pieces of shit I have ever seen but I still fucking watch them because they are Star Wars. Im such a :flock:

I have stayed FAR FAR away from them (<= see what I did there). I am looking forward to the Live Action TV series due to come (not for a few years since Lucas states its too expensive to make with todays costs and his FX)

the extended editions tried my patience but Star Wars (A New Hope) and Empire are not shitty in ANY form. they are fantastic truly epic

They have their moments, but people mostly like them because they watched them when they were a kid, and have grown attached to them.

yeah its based between Episodes 3 and 4 (sith and hope). I believe no recurring characters just knew ones (Jedis being hunted down I think) I would imagine there would be appearances by Vader, Fett, Emperor later for ratings etc...

Im not sure you can make that opinion for other people. my friends kids watched them (they are 7 years old) and LOVE them. not as much as the newer ones (made for kids of today) and he saw them from 4-5-6 then 1-2-3. my buddy is a huge SW fan and wanted to see how his boy would react in that order.

I still love the originals. annoyed with Ewoks but still love the movies.
