I can't remember a time when the American men's tennis picture was as dismal as it is currently...I guess I grew up in the heyday of American tennis with Connors and McEnroe, who then gave way to Agassi and Chang (still pretty good, but a drop off), but now, Roddick has lost his game and there's nobody else stepping up.

You missed Sampras. He had more majors alone than McEnroe and Connors combined. I think the Agassi/Sampras era was stronger than the 70s/80s.
It's such an individual sport where a few at the top dominate.

It's definitely down in America, but a Swiss man and a Spaniard are winning just about everything right now. So even if the #3-#10 guys were all American, we wouldn't be winning many majors. I just don't think the interest is there in America as much. Not sure why.

Very true. This is because girls are STUPID though. The amount of friends I have that date dicks is ridiculous. That's because they have zero confidence, so if they see someone who IS confident/cocky have interest in them? They jump on it. I have...well, I have a list personally. And I can tell you there is zero physical attributes on that list. It's not an actual written down list...just, just in my head :P

First of all, it's not their fault their parents named them Richard.

Secondly, it's uncharacteristic to have that many people named Richard going by Dick in such an isolated area. Don't worry, that number will naturally regress to the norm over time with transfers and graduations.

Thirdly, when they're all talking about their boyfriends, all Dicks, I'll bet that gets confusing.

Del Potro is no slouch, but that makes it much harder for him to win this match. Perhaps if they run out of light it might give Del Po an advantage getting to start fresh tomorrow

I dont mind it... in moderation. Women are fucking cheap and I have expensive taste when it comes to food. So it gets expensive to date often. I'd rather just go to a bar, meet some drunk chick... and stop there.
