It is amazing it lived through all of that for so long. I say they put the owner is an gymnasium that is locked down with a family of wild elephants. Throw a baby elephant in there so they will be extra aggressive to protect it. Live on PPV!

This is Sofia, she is the newest member of the 43 household. She is an American Foxhound / Border Collie mix. She looks like a foxhound, (particularly the short hair), but Border Collie coloring. 7 mos old rescue and rambunctious as all get out. We have a little work to do on a leash because she wants to chase anything that moves outside. But otherwise sweet as can be.

My youngest has proclaimed that toy is "Frankenpuss" because the dog ripped it and my oldest did a quick sew up job with thick black thread. It is, more or less, an Octopus.

Wow. I was talking to my mom the other day about Goldens, and apparently they have something like a 30-40% incidence of cancer due to selective breeding? That number could be off, but I know it was ridiculously high.

My 75 lb. standard poodle broke free of his collar several nights ago and I found him with a small black cat in his jaws, shaking it violently. Except when I looked closer I saw a white stripe running down its back. I think I yelled Noooooooooooo!!!!.......1 quart hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda and 2 teaspoons of dish soap. 2 baths with this got him back in the house..........An older pic from a couple years ago but you get the idea......
