The girl's first trip to the dog park. Overall, they enjoyed it and are tired out. I put them in with the big doggo's for the last 10 minutes so they could socialize. The Corgi only wanted to to socialize with people, and the Papillon was barking like she was being murdered. All the other dogs were looking at each like they were saying "WTF?"

Some mystery illness is hitting dogs in my part of CO. and one of the connections are parks.

Excessive coughing & what seems like sneezing.

My neighbor works at an animal hospital & said if you take your dogs to a park look into getting them some extra shots to be safe. If they get sick there's no current cure.

when I was a kid it was always a scramble before halloween to get your order in for bricks of firecrackers with the kid whose dad was a longshoreman. I used to always think there was a big boat that just came into port loaded with firecrackers and fireworks. We would take the ink tube out of Bic pens and load them with bottle rockets ... a psuedo rpg launcher. And we would blow shit up with cherry bombs ... sometimes quite literally shit lol

Can always remember poor John Shebatowsky who ran by a group of us after someone lit a bunch of firecrackers in a steaming pile of dogshit ... him running towards us ( AT RECESS !!! ) yelling "whats going on guys!!???) while we all yellled "NO JOHN NO" and then boom ... all over his face and clothes ... set off a whole bunch of dry heaving from us

I put an atom cracker in a 303 shell casing and when it went off it slammed into my sternum. Hurt like hell.

Many people think that I’m silly for not allowing my cats to be free range. They only go outside on a rope and a halter leash. I refuse to find any of them flattened in the street because I just let them out.

Vet clinic a couple blocks up has a window full of missing cat and small dog flyers.
Why yes, we do have coyotes in the neighbourhood, why do you ask?

I haven’t seen a coyote in my backyard, but I regularly see bears and huge raccoons, and we know cougars pass through occasionally.

Our rear, facing living room and rec room, take care of most of the birds. They see the trees reflected in it, and wanna fly right through. Most drop dead. Only flickers seem to survive seeing how they’re built for hitting things with their beak.

I'm so sorry. That is awful and is my biggest fear.

Mine just ran across a busy road and thankfully his only punishment is being forced to wear a long lead.
