That thought had already crossed my mind tonight.

Of the $396 Million that Obama spent on ads, 85% of that was for attack ads.

Romney spent $472 Million, and 91% of that was for attack ads.

That's a lot of money that could have been better spent helping people, instead of it being used insulting two people out in public.

Wow, that was a pretty smart comment for someone who's a birdbrain.

Well I'm just glad that the money was used to make rich TV people even richer. This way they get to continue showing all the people who are living in poverty on TV.

Obama took Ohio.

It's over, IMO.

I'm honestly shocked. Obama did nothing but fuck up for 4 years. Nothing is going to change for the next 4 years.

Given which states are still out and Obama's expected advantage in a bunch of those states, looks like it's not likely to drag out through messy lawsuits or anything.

Doesn't look like as big of a win as in 2008, but still pretty big.

Of course they are, since it's over with Ohio.

Very telling is the fact that even Fox News called it for Obama.

They had Karl Rove up there explaining why they might have pulled the trigger too soon. I was barely listening, though. Too sleepy.

Yeah, I saw him presenting his case.

I have to assume that they were pretty confident if they called it. And it's no surprise that Fox would rather have a Romney win, so if they're willing to go on air with it...

I'm projecting that NHL hockey fans will be seeing games in December...

Well, FOX called it for Gore in 2000, too. Not saying anything, but just sayin'. I really doubt we have another 2000 moment.

You sure about that?

It was a while ago obviously, but I seem to recall Fox being the only ones to not call it for Gore, then to proceed and call it for Bush while everyone else was calling Gore.

That's what led to the change in the procedures where the networks now can't call a state until the polls are closed, because the Florida panhandle was still open when the networks called Florida in 2000.

I'd like to see Nate Silver's projection on that.

Not sure if anyone else reads his stuff, but so far he's 100% on his state-by-states.

Virginia and Florida are super close obviously, but Obama is up by slim margins in both right now, decent lead in Colorado, and big favorite in Nevada.

And no shock that Alaska will go for Romney. He could be 100% on it. Wonder how he'll write his "told you so" article since he's been so heavily criticized by conservatives the last few weeks.
