I would love to get a new amp and Electric (mine is pretty basic, but I don't play it that often anyway...) but I don't have the $$$ to do it

I hear ya... I've just been playing so much, it is time to upgrade my amp. I need a tube amp, this Line 6 I have is horrid. If I can sell my 2 amps and finance it, I'll be good.

yeah, the majority of the time I play one of my acoustic guitars, but it'd be nice to get something better than what I have. Even more so now that it'd be usefull for the band I'm in

I wish I had time to practice. My son is a fair player/good singer, and he has shown me a few things. I can hold my own with chords, but that's about as far as it goes. He can't read music, but somehow has the ability to play pretty much anything he hears by "working it out in his head." Punk...

serious question..
What are your plans for a rig like that?
Playing clubs? Recording?
'Cuz that's a ton of scratch to drop on a combo to just jam with your peeps.

I like the diversity of the amp, but you are correct. I am beginning to rethink my choices, lol.

That's definitely a sweet ass combo then.
Old roommate of mine was in a local club band.
His PRS + his Mesa Boogie combo = all he ever needed + more.

Save them pennies.
Sleeve can wait.
Amp first, tat later. :-D

Just made a pretty cool medley... Here's the sequence.

"I'd Love to Change the World" by Ten Years After
"Snowblind" by Black Sabbath
"Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin

Came out sounding sick the way I blended them. I'll definitely be using this live with my new project. It goes back to the heavy riff from "I'd Love to Change the World" for about a minute at the end to just jam a solo in E.
