OT: Fess up....favorite rock ballads

I wasn't really about to post it. Because it's not a Rock ballad...and I stick by the fact that it's not a rock ballad. I'll proudly admit I like that song, but it's not a rock ballad in my book atleast

Well that all depends if someone thinks that the song you posted is considered a rock ballad or not to them.

I for one believe that only the songs I posted are truly Rock Ballads, well, in my book anyways.

Personally I would consider alll of the songs posted to have some level of "rock ballad" to them...aside from the Pantera one I posted on the first page, but that was TRUE sarcasm....

a rock ballad is tough to explain. it is basically a lame cheesy song that is played non stop during parties, movie montages, etc.

like, dont stop believing or something like that. and yea, total eclipse of the heart is a rock ballad.

well there is a difference between a hard rock band doing a soft song. like i do not think of angie by the rolling stones a ballad.

ballads are these cheesy songs that just get played over and over. so i think popularity does play a part in it.

think of here i go again on my own. or every rose has its thorn. or the other songs i mentioned.
