I personally dont think anything is different

What I'm referring to mostly is when a ball is rolling out of play (say for a goal kick) and the defender has no intention of playing the ball, but he prevents the attacking player from getting to the ball by shielding him off. I realize it's been that way for some time now, but in my opinion, that's the definition of obstruction and it should be called more often.

If that's true, then the Dutch should have given up another before half to give themselves a better chance.
