I took the week off because I have pushed myself a little too hard this year and would have lost the vacation days. So...

I'm going to clean my house, and then catch a plane back home to see my family for Christmas. Today I'm going into work to do a few things before going home, as well, like [hopefully] fixing the laser and printing out some papers to read while I'm home.

So what I'm getting at here is that I'm just doing what I always do this time of year.

I told my wife I will hold off on christmas shopping until i know for sure there will be a Dec 22nd since I wouldnt want my life to end with an outstanding VISA balance as god does not look kindly upon this ... true story ... its in the bible

Probably had close to 30 cm of snow fall in a very short period of time on Vancouver Island last night. I passed multiple vehicles in the ditch on my way up to Nanaimo.

Getting together with the neighborhood association to give a speech entitled "Hellscaping 101 - How to Make the Four Horseman Think They've Already Visited."

We put decorative holes in rooves, knock some mailboxes over, unscrew shutters so they hang in a discheveled in a manner, light a few cars on fire, etc. Basically, we take steps to convince the servants of hell that they have already turned our neighborhood into a fiery inferno of suffering and that Lucifer's wrath has brought all living souls within that Zip code to their catastrophic and painful demise. You have to make sure to have the Christmas lights still up as well so that the recency of the cataclysmic destruction wrought by the minions of Satan seems timely and authentic. Otherwise, the puppets of the will of the nether world won't believe the farce and will continue turning our homes and lives into a holocaust on Earth.
