OT: Disney buys Lucasfilm, plans to release Star Wars episode VII

I can see the Han movie being similar to Firefly, which would be amazing to me. The Boba Fett one really would have to suck to fail. More people wanted to see him back than Luke from what I've seen.

not sure how involved he would be as he still has creative consultant. I would assume that Disney would be mostly running the show for it.

I have excitement and dread for this and its still 2+ years away.

a young han solo? who would play him? I cant even imagine. is chewie involved? better be. what is a star wars movie without a jedi??

Its been 20 years since I saw any of them but in my memory the ones of the older Indy were OK, not great but OK. But the ones about the two younger Indys were childish and really terrible.

Kind of like I felt about the new Star Wars films, especially the first.

those are my first thought choices. assuming they are keeping Han in his mid 20s.

Like both those choices. After watching JGL in a few recent movies (TDKR, Looper, Premium Rush, Inception...) I think he could pull it off.

I can't say I like the idea of a Boba Fett movie though. I'd rather see a Coruscant-based, Blade-Runner style film focusing on the seedy underworld. Tom Hardy could star in that...

Since Firefly might be my favorite thing ever, I would be all over a Han Solo series in that vein.

I think he would be great, I think he can do just about anything. I also recommend his movies "Brick" (same director as "Looper") and "The Lookout".
