OT: Disney buys Lucasfilm, plans to release Star Wars episode VII

Not sure if this has been posted, but apparently Arndt has written a treatment which will go out to Speilberg, Abrams, and Brad Bird. If any of them like/want it, they'll direct it with Arndt writing. My vote goes to Bird from that group.

Me too! Ever see the show "Freaks And Geeks"? Its from that. The story was they ordered the mascots and when it arrived it was a lot more detailed and creepy than the producers wanted. With no money or time to replace it they used it and most people thought the weirdness of it made the scenes funnier.
