I actually think he seems like a pretty good coach. Pretty much an impossible situation in Jax. He was defintiely set up to fail when they cut his starter a few days before the season started.

You all thought Mike Brown was fucked up?

This is from an owner that tells Del Rio at the beginning of camp that this year he must make the playoffs, then turns around and releases Del Rio's starting QB a week before the season started..

That team is destined for LA for sure.

I don't think Zimmer will get a HC job this year, but if he does, Del Rio would be an excellent hire as a DC.

I can't remember the last head coach that went to DC or OC the very next year. Lebeau? I think most like to at least take a year off for the sake of their own ego.

Are we sure that Garrard wasn't a Del Rio cut? Apparently, his back was bad enough that he decided to have surgery on it despite Oakland reaching out to him after Campbell went down.

I guess the Jags are on the hook for his salary next season, so he will probably take the year off.

either way they botched the handling of Garrard. If they wanted to move in a different direction they shoulda done that from the jump.

Wade Phillips and Josh McDaniels are coordinators this year. Mike Nolan went from HC to DC somewhere (Denver?). Romeo Crennel is a DC for KC. I think if he doesnt get offered a HC job he'll be a DC. Dick Jauron is an OC in Cleveland and all those are just off the top of my head..

Yeah plenty of HC's do it. If Zimmer leaves I like Del Rio as a DC.

Our next DC if Zimmer left would probably be Kevin Coyle. Believe that.

LOL

McDaniels is still in the league? I guess I was a little off.

He's running that juggernaut offense in St. Louis.

Where are all the Bradford fanboys now? That kid is lousy. They should have tanked harder and given themselves a shot at Luck.

Bradford will be a great QB if they actually give him an offensive line and a weapon. Brandon Lloyd is getting old and always had the dropsies. His O-Line is also terrible.

He's 1/16th Cherokee - Not sure why 1/16th of anything is that special, but they like to make a big deal of it.

I wonder who still thinks the Rams would trade Luck before trading Bradford.

Me too. Luck has far more value. If Bradford sucks like you think, then who the hell is going to offer anything of substance?
