Have you read the short story? Theres not much to it, you can finish it in 5 minutes, but I always liked it. The movie looks good to me, just havent seen it yet.

I dont know the comics at all, but this looks really fun to me:

I have read the short story, and the movie isn't based on it so much as it's based on the character, and even that is loose, but I like the imagination of it, if you will.

Maybe it's just me...Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I didn't think the movie was that awesome at all.

I mean it was decent, and had its moments, but it didn't really follow some of the storylines from the other movies, and leaves too many unanswered questions and problems.

I also saw Godzilla, and thought it was more about a boy becoming Batman, than about monsters fighting.

I like this title. Why? Because it gives me the suspicion that this film will serve as a precursor story to the formation of the Justice League, that's why.

And I need more Martian Manhunter in my cinema.

wasn't it obvious that's the direction they were going to take once they announced the batman/superman mashup? throw in a wonderwoman and cyborg as well....

I liked it, there were some references to past movies and also like how they hinted at the magnets and Quicksilver's dad and not knowing him. Also his scene when they slowed everything down was great.

X-Men certainly had it's moments. In all a very enjoyable flick, good movie, but not your standard superhero movie. I was hoping for a bit more mindless action personally. Love the teaser at the end of the credits though. Next one should be epic.

Easily the best scene of the whole movie.

One of the problems I had with the movie, which irked me the most, had to deal with Hank's miracle mutant serum. :L

Agreed, it was excellent. I am a big fan of Evan Peter's, different look for Quicksilver, but I like it.

Good point, it was kinda lame.

In all seriousness, I don't really have a favorite, but I do like some more than others.

I would put Xmen: DOFP at the top of the list for me now. Everyone of these movies have their issues (and I agree 100% with the mutant suppression serum)

Even over The Dark Knight?!

That tops the cake for me.

you know I guess that is a toss. The Dark Knight was pretty spectacular. Ill give the edge to TDK for Heath alone

I honestly don't think they realized that adding that one little thing to the movie could poke SO many holes in all the other movies and basically ruin storylines.

And how in the hell could Trask Industries capture and kill Azazel? Answer that one.

And if they did get his powers for the robots, then why couldn't they simply teleport to the mutants, instead of riding in big ships and trying to blow their way into secured facilities that are hiding in?

yeah Azazel seemed to have a long range as well. I can only guess that something in his DNA just went wrong  I know that the serum only was temporary and actually enhanced Hanks ability (or sped it up anyway), Im not sure if ruins storylines of other ones considering that due to this one the 3 xmen movies and the 2 wolverines pretty much did not happen. very JJ Abrams Star Trek like

Yes, but if Wolverine never travels back into his younger body, the serum would still exist back in 1973.

If the serum exists, then why wouldn't it be used more, and in the other movies? The X-men could have used it as a weapon to stop other Mutants without fighting or any damage being done. Why did they fight so hard over that one kid in the Last Stand, when Hank already had a serum that did the same thing his blood did? Why couldn't they just have used the serum to stop Magneto and others before the final battle ever took place?

What about Rogue? Why couldn't they have let her use the serum to be a normal person and touch people? If they used the serum on her, then Magento would never have used her powers in the 1st movie to power his machine.

And if Charles traded his powers to be able to walk, then how was he walking AND using his powers in the Wolverine Origins movie?

And what about Magento? He showed that he could use metal to control the Sentinels in the movie, so why could he have done that in the other timeline as well? Why couldn't he create or use giant metal blades that could cut right through them?

I might be nitpicking, but there are so many holes and unansered questions.
