So Monsters U was AMAZING! Dare I say, better than the first? I'll have to see it's rewatchability but it was a good one.

I think the movie was so hyped and and anticipated that it was set up for failure.

hard to call it a failure when its the first Superman to break 1/2 a billion dollars worldwide but it was awfully hyped.

Thing I dislike the most was pretty much everyone in Smallville knew who he was and by the end of the movie It seemed like people knew he was Clark Kent I mean he tells the General at the end Im american I grew up in Kansas, like they couldnt find him.

the only thing I liked about this is that it was so goofy how no one could determine clark was superman in the comics and other movies. I know we know but there was just too many things in the past that should alert someone like lois lane. she is supposed to be the best reporter around and in this movie they let her be more a reporter than someone that just got into trouble all the time.

I thought the product placement was a bit excessive

only thing I really noticed was LexCorp for a future story line and I guess the Sears store.

I thought the fight seems were a little drawn out considering that they werent really hurting each other.

they were hurting each other with both the punches and the weapons they used since they were from Krypton they did have power I like how they gave him more vulnerability in this since he is so indestructible except for Kryptonite I was ok with how they did it

And then I didnt like how he didnt have full use of his powers before they had him flying he snuck every were he can run faster then a speeding bullet.

he was kind of discovering who he was still and wasnt sure what to do and how to present himself he just knew he had to help in the times he did i liked that alot

But I did think Costner and Crowe did a great job I liked the way they made Krypton look.

yeah it was fantastic

Compared to Reeves and Smallville it looked like an actual planet just not people living in Crystal huts.

I like the fortress of solitude and how it always symbolized what krypton was but I liked the new Krypton as well

I was most surprised pleasantly by Zod I did think he was a good choice from the start but the Shannon did a great job he damn near did it perfect in my opinion.

And of course Zods wife and Lois Lane were smoking hot which helps too.

I do not think she was Zods wife, just his Lieutenant so to speak much like Ursa was in Reeves Superman 2. I liked alot of how they did more backstory to Zod in this and gave him more depth.

overall I liked this movie I liked they strayed away from the original story so much they needed too its quite a hard character to give a movie too with his history and powers.

If you ignore all the hype and just go....I thought it was very good. My wife & I both enjoyed it

Sears 7-11 KC Royals.... I wouldnt have been surprised if I saw ads on his costume.

Yea I get that but his speed and strength are usually the first thing he discovers. It just seemed weird to me he can control his heat vision to save Lois life but has to sneak around a house to steal some clothes.

Your right I dont think they specifically said it was his wife but it was the same character. Ursa which is his wife but they dont say that.

Your right I dont think they specifically said it was his wife but it was the same character. Ursa which is his wife but they dont say that.

I got the impression he wasn't incapable of using his powers so much as he wanted to hide them as much as possible.

Man, Pacific Rim was a fun movie. They knew it was over the top, and they rolled with it beautifully.

And it's the first 3D film I've seen which I actually think looked good. It looked really good.
