Agree. Like it has been said before, if all other divisions in football are able to have a complete playoff format there should be no reason that Division I could not have. To make it just 4 teams is beyond ridiculous. 8 would have been a good start. But of course it is all about money and all the money that these 6-5 teams could lose out on in bowl revenue. The number of bowl games has gotten out of hand anyway.

I completely agree. There was a time when teams were "rewarded" for a good season. And didn't 2 teams go last year with losing records.

My thought on this whole playoff system was to have all teams go to an 11 game season; plus one for the conference championship. Then you have 8 teams moving forward and only two teams would play a maximum of 15 games.

Don't want to see college become pro ball.

But this whole "potential" mess of some very good and deserving 11-1 teams not getting to participate is ridiculous IMO.

No argument here. If they are going to settle with 4 teams, then they should not be determined by the vote or opinion. Decide it on the field of play.

Actually their defense did. That was the worst offensive performance I have seen from a team scoring over 40 points. First 13 was all on the offense/special teams and then some lame duck passes that were caught for long gainers. But UT's offense could never get its act together for an extended period of time.
