Thats really sad, he was a fantastic actor. Hard to feel too bad for him, 95 years old and still moving around well (and smoking lol) is pretty great; but 63 for her? Sad. Wonder what happened, gas leak or something?

Seeing Gene Hackman has passed I felt a sadness for the loss of a man that Delivered some amazing characters..

Seeing the mystery around him, his wife and his dog just didn't surprise me at all in today's world

I really liked him in that, I know lots of people hated him in it but to me his slightly over the top performance really worked.

I also like how even though he and Richard Donner did not get along, when they fired Donner while continuing to work on the second one - Hackman refused to film anything else. At least thats what I heard several times.

I have been around ALOT of dead bodies, decomposition and bloating can occur very quickly if the conditions are right (heat, environment, bugs in the area etc..) but mummification can take some time but its not like weeks. Mummification generally occurs when the body becomes so dehydrated after death that decomposition just turns to solid tissue and blackness in it. I certainly do not think they were found shortly after death ... I am very curious on the reports once concluded.
