Lastnight's was a weird episode. Much different pace and feel to it than most episodes. Not sure if Nucky can trust that guy, and I'm guessing the weird kid saw Marge and Owen doing the deed.

Also, I think a pretty good idea for Halloween would be to go as a prohibition agent, just start smashing peoples drinks and flipping tables, yelling at the bartenders that they're in direct violation of the Volstead Act. People would probably get a good kick out of that.

I am getting so sick of Margaret. Nucky runs fucking EVERYTHING, and he's henpecked by some holier-then-thou immigrant broad? fuck that.
Makes me want to fast forward every time one of her scenes comes up.

I think its because she is going to try to declare him dead so she gets the house. In the episode before that didn't Uncle Junior tell her some assets were frozen until Jimmy comes back? I think that's also why she put Jimmy's necklace on the guy. Now, how she is going to explain the different face I do not know.

That's what I initially thought, but they don't look similar enough. That's why I thought she was just looking for closure. There are those who know how he truly died like Harrow and of course Nucky.

I loved that scene when Nucky asked Harrow how many people he'd killed. And Nucky asked him if he and his family were safe. Harrow replied with something like "Jimmy played the game and he lost."

I friggin' love Harrow's character.

Meh, it was a fairy actor and he did struggle a bit.

Van Alden is back and crazier than ever. I was ecstatic when that smug prick got what he deserved. Dean O'Bannion needs to be in every scene, love that guy.

Margaret's storyline is brutally boring. I don't care what happens to her. Glad Nucky's side girl is done.

I doubt it, but I wonder if Rothstein and Luciano will suspect Nucky was setting them up or if they will know Gyp was behind it? Running into the guy right before they got to their destination will seem very coincidental to them.

When you torment someone its good to have a sense of when enough is enough, especially if the tormentee has a steam iron in his hand. I guess that guys career as an iron salesmen is over. "What did that to your face?" "One of these fine irons!".

I watched the end sequence twice, Rothstein walking away from them made wonder if he was in on it. But on second viewing I don't think so. He wasn't far enough away and I don't think he'd do that to Lucky. I think they are going to know it was Gyp, but still be mad at Nucky for his ineptness.

They should at least had Billie get naked once more, for old times sake.

Owen is amazing, he can do anything. Including picking out a good pony.

And once again, Van Alden wife/nanny is a keeper. A real go getter.

Whacked out Nucky is great. Margaret does indeed suck. Good for Richard but we need more action from him. Chalky made a brief, uncomfortable cameo. We need to see more out of him as he's one of the more compelling characters on the show. Nucky doesn't have many allies left and once he finds out about Owen and Marge that's one more ally gone.

- the Rosetti show continues to be awesome.
- shame about Owen, interesting to see how Nucky responds now that he knows Maggie is a slut.
- I had to rewind to see what happened to him, you don't expect something like that to be subtle on this show. dramatic effect sure as fuck worked though!
- assume the palindrome spouting guy with the badge sold him out? guess we'll know if we see him again.
- enjoying Stephen Root character

I'm assuming badge guy sold him out. Are Luciano and Lansky somehow connected with that? The meeting they had seemed to imply they might.

We need more of the Chicago storyline I can't stress that enough.

Looks like Chalky White will be coming back in a big way next episode. Nucky gives him what he was asking for this week and Chalky returns the favor with muscle.

Gyp is keeping that crazy train rolling and it doesn't seem to be losing momentum.

I also loved Richard's apology scene with his new girl's father.

What an amazing episode. Could not agree more, arguably one of the best episodes in any series I've ever seen. The Chalky/Gyp stare down, Richard no longer has to put up with Mrs. Darmody's bs, Lucky screwing himself over, and then the ending. Can not wait for the finale.
