OT: beer snakes in stadiums

just a question to the fine american posters here: Beer snakes? (ie the stacking of empty beer cups )

this happened in winnipeg and the stadium banned it

it is the game "sweeping the nation" now ... friday night they tried it in Vancouver for the BC Lions game



does this beer snake phenomenon happen in US college football stadiums? on youtube, the origins look to be from the sport of cricket? (WTF?)Ive never seen it in an NFL stadium but then again Ive havent personally been to too many of those

people end up throwing the empty cups in the direction of the beer snake, showering some of the unwilling fans ... fisticuffs ensue

attending a cfl game has become a real gong show ... very fun, but a gong show ... especially this year in vancouver, where the fans get to be outside watching the home team for the first time in close to 30 years in the temporary stadium
