How so? My understanding was that the game dates for the ALCS and NLCS were already set before the postseason started. Game 1 for the ALCS is Saturday. Tough turnaround for the O's or Yankees.

I didn't realize it either until I saw that the Yankees game was not the prime-time game tonight, and I went looking for the reason. MLB was nice enough to give the winner (and potentially the Tigers) an extra 3 hours of travel time.
