CK, you have to admit Oregon's defense did a great job against Auburn in that game. Gave up a couple of big plays early, but really got it going later in the game. Also Newton might of had his worst game of the season.

Yeah, I give the Oregon D credit. I think they got worn down though. Dyer and the O-line were the difference for Auburn.

Newton did have an off game.....he missed two easy touchdown passes that would have made things a lot easier for us.

Auburn was lucky the Mississippi State recievers dropped like 50 passes.

Miss St has a great defense, they should be as good or better this year too.

It was only his second start....SEC game on the road, and a short week. I'm sure that played a part in it.

plus I don't think whoever Auburn played in week one exactly prepared them for Mississippi State
