Posey got hit in the noggin in his first AB and was replaced by Hundley. Currently 0-0 in the 4th.

Officially, the Giants were 0-1 in that RISP situation. But it was completely effective. It just seems the Giants have had a lot of that this season.

Sure, I would prefer the team were hitting .300 in RISP situation, but .100 is not always .100...

That will be shuffled sooner rather than later.

I want to see Parker given a chance, but dude is 28. Not exactly a "kid", and his ABs are painful to watch. Kinda the anti-Nuschler.

It is a persistent conundrum for me why the Dogs can draft and develop such good hitters, and we struggle at it. They seem to come up with a good young hitter every year: Pederson, Seager, Puig, etc. We do have Posey and Crawford and Belt and Panik, but our OF has been void of good young hitters. And then we give away Duvall, who would not have hit as many HR here as in CIN, but the dude has a legit bat.

The Giants, until last year, have not focused on OF bats in the draft. But in the last 10 years they have developed Belt, Posey, Panik, Crawford, Duffy, Duvall and Sandoval. That is 7 all-star level bats in 10 years. And you are complaining?
