Sure looks like contact was made and it was clearly deliberate. So that should be a game or two as well.

But; since a repeat offender in the very same game crosschecked someone deliberately in the face and isn't getting a hearing then if the league is truly interested in impartiality, not appearing to play favorites with certain teams/players and consistency, then Legwand should face nothing at all either.

Legwand was deliberate and should have been tossed. But I would like to know for sure he actually made contact. Because reasons.

Connecting with the shot doesn't change Legwand's intent and should have no bearing on punishment, but the way Malkin starts to drop, looks for the ref, and then falls is suspicious.
