Good convo guys I've been frustrated with this shit for years. The whole I'm a better than average player so I know I won't be suspended BS has got to go. We need to face it that the rules are different for guys like neal compared to 3rd or 4th liners. At some point a guy will be killed and maybe we'll see some changes???

I like the point that was made that neal isn't helping his team as the general strategy these days is that if you touch our star player we're going after yours. Because of this I just don't understand the pens organizational logic. They got rid of cooke who was the worst for years and now they've found another tool in neal. Orpik is no peach either I fully believe that he'd kill another man if no one's looking! I may be biased but I don't recall any other team over the past few years with this many high level cheap shot artists. Even the Flyers don't come close as they've been forced to clean up otherwise they spend most of the game in the box from a 70's reputation. Although I'm starting to see the refs catching this more often than a few years back shanny is definitely dropping the ball when it comes time to drop the hammer. I agree with having a multiple person crew who calls it like they see it no bias.

One thing that I find humorous is the fact that this tool neal is getting all these diving calls...what a tough guy! In my books there's no bigger coward than someone who will give it out but curl up when someone gives it back. Pens can keep that POS I wouldn't even give you Rinaldo at least this guy man's up to bigger men when challenged...and then keeps on hitting cleanly playing his game.
