I didn't learn much this week...

Clemson game was fun to watch, but neither team had a D.

FSU game was fun to watch but Pitt really had no D.

Oregon ran over a cupcake...

Bama beat VT easily, but how good is VT really? We don't know yet. And Bama appeared to struggle on O a little bit.

Okie St. struggled with Miss. St.

Florida struggled with Toledo for a bit... Florida O looked suspect... D looked great.

OSU struggled against Buffalo... should have blown them out in most people's opinions...

The biggest shocker to me was S. Carolina's offense.. .but again, one game isn't going to get me too excited... S. Carolina has had some good offensive games in the past only to stink it up in other games.

What did we really learn this week? Very little in my opinion...

I don't think beating UGA quite has the effect you'd expect. UGA has a habit of not winning these types of games. The only reason they even got as far as they did last year is because their schedule was a cake walk. Had they had some marquis games last year they would have flopped again.

These first few polls should be EXTREMELY fluid and drastic changes should happen. The initial poll is based off nothing more than guesses. Once they start playing it should be Ok for big changes to take place. Instead, Georgia stays above teams that have actually won a game this year. Then, they'll beat Soith Caolina and rejoin the top 10, with SC barely falling out, giving them each a free loss due to a preseason idea of how good they are.

Take a moment and go look at Bama's past schedules. Last years was weaker than any we have had in years. This year is pretty bad atm, but never be to quick to judge the sos. A couple of these teams might sneak into the rankings by the end.
