To be fair...his production tanked before we signed him to that absurd contract.Yeesh dot gif
and he signs a deal to get him to UFA as quick as fucking possible.another lol
6. I don’t think Darnell Nurse is going to be signing for $8 million per season. There’s what you ask for, and what you’re actually looking for. Nurse wants to be an Oiler, which supersedes everything else.

Edmonton Oilers roll the dice on short-term extension for Darnell Nurse
Yup, great work by Ken Holland losing all leverage over Nurse. Now Darnell either holds the Oilers over a barrel (because they know they have no defensemen in Bakersfield) or simply walks to free agency. I mean, it's like Chiarelli never left Edmonton

Thank God Edmonton is still Edmonton-ing enough to distract even the tiniest bit from the dumpster fire in Buffalo.Yup, great work by Ken Holland losing all leverage over Nurse. Edmonton can play next season and try to sign Nurse to an extension with a year to go before his UFA. If at that point there’s no deal to be made they can still move him for a decent return.
In short, they could still totally Oiler this but they haven’t really Oilered it yet.

That was actually amazing lol
Murray certainly hasn't been up to par for the Pens, but how in the fuck is it anyone but Jack cement feet Johnson?
I presume they just threw a dart at the Sabres roster to make their selection.
