Actually, there was a sequence last night where Kassian was coming around the net last night in a similar manner to the game a couple of weeks ago where Matthew caught him with a hit. Difference was Kassian lost the puck and Tkachuk turned away from the hit.

/Whether or not he would have followed through with the hit if Kassian retained possession of the puck is up for debate

Yeah, this season sucks for you guys on so many levels. Hertl is a tough one to take though. During a rough season he was a reason to tune in anyway. Hope he comes back 100% next year.

Yeah, it’s a tough season. With a tough outlook. I was hoping a retooling in the offseason might jumpstart the team but it’s starting to look like a rebuild might be needed.

I hope Hertl bounces back from this. Fun guy to watch play and he has such a great personality.
