I initially thought gillis was spreading the rumour when i saw it yesterday lol.

I think he would be good to head the nhlpa. He was pretty much the catalyst that changed the way the union ran things in 80s (helping to get eagleson shittcanned). He would really be a strong adversary to bettman.

If he gets an interview and is asked “how can you help the average nhl player?” he should just pull out a copy of the contract he got for bobby holik back in the day when he was his agent

You want a PA head who can handle every aspect of the job, every day. How is a player going to go to bat for the next Kyle Beach when he has to worry about playing Tampa tomorrow, let alone figure out how to negotiate a CBA?

Hes needs to go but hes not going anywhere … he has the support of owners. Doesnt sound like fehr has the support of players anymore
