I think a stern message has to be sent here and by that, I mean a suspension of at least 8 games - In no way is that a hockey play.

3 games for 11 year vet Nick Foligno for an elbow (first time he's ever done anything like that). Bortuzzo gets 4 games for a blatant intent to injure. That's just not right. The NHLPA should appeal that decision on Arvidsson's behalf because the punishment is too light.

I had no faith that they would get it right and was fully prepared to be angry on Nick's behalf.

If I had more gumption, I would go back and look at how many light decisions they make after an unnecessarily harsh one. Feels like a pattern. Harsh one, several light ones.
